Today is the 1st day of april.

Well, i have no idea what to write about actually. I am just feeling down these few days. I would be staying silent these few days. Past few days were only staying home, watch TV or go out for joyrides on buses. the same bus, Service 143. Now, life is still noramal except for some problems along the way. it will be solved in no time. yup. so don't worry much about me. I have a new song to post, so enjoy!!

Well
i havent had the time to update my blog for a long time. Life is still good along the way. i passed my N levels with 8 points. Now im currently in ITE College West(Bt Batok), under the Multimedia Technology department. ITE life is still good.everyday under the aircon and in-front of the computer. Im happy about it. Yesterday, i went to the Armed Forces Career Exhibition at Ngee Ann City. went to the different exhibitions displayed there. i forged friendship with a few warrant officers. 1 of them is from Navy, the other is from the Logistics. Have a good chat with them at the exhibition. I even signed the career application forms for army,navy and air force. I got gift packs from the exhibition itself and free gift from there. but overall, im satisfied with wad im doing.

Well it has been a long time i have not updated my blog. My N levels are over. Im very happy about it. i have been spending my days joyriding on buses and staying at home resting. yup. there has been 2 big events happening for the past 2 weeks. 1st one was my school's Graduation Dinner held at Park Hotel Orchard. it was a great event that i would like to commend about. Had fun during the games session and the food there was great. But what was most important was that i manage to take pictures with the people that I know for 4 years in Swiss Cottage. when the whole event was over, some of my classmates and I went to the KTV at the hotel to sing. too bad, i sang like 2 songs and left. Heard from my other classmates that they sang until like about 4 am. luckily i went home by the last bus from orchard. No nite owl. hehe. it was the best event i have in life. i will post some pics of the event.







The 2nd event was the Nissan UD Farewell tour which happened yesterday. it was fun. The organisers chartered CSS180C for this tour. We met up at tampines to wait for the bus. at 3 plus, the bus came. so we boarded the bus. the bus went to Changi Village, then to Changi Business Park, there, we have a photos session of BC shots and EDS shots. 5.40pm, we went to Expo Station to fetch victor. then we went to Tanah Merah Staion, Malcolm alighted, after that, the bus went up the steep slope of Tanah Merah Kechil Ave and then to Upper Changi Road. Ho ming went off for a while to smap a pic of the bus outside his school. After he came back, we zoomed off to Simei Ave, then Xilin Ave then to ECP. sped along ECP, then we saw a DM3500 on 36, some of us did the thumbs down sign. haha. quite fun but a little risky. then the last stop was at Marina Bay, where we took night shots and group pics infront of the bus. 7 plus, we went off to Habourfront int. took the way former 608 went. then some of us alighed at Habourfront int. some went to the North and the East. It was fun anyway. i will also post another set of pics.

well

the movie MONEY NO ENOUGH 2 is really good. i like the part when the 3 brothers were at wits end, and they cracked their heads to help to support the family. the best movie i have ever watched.

im officially 16 already. i would like to thank those people who wished me on my birthday. alot to mention. and i would like to thank my friends who graced the period to celebrate it with me. it was great. right now, i am feeling a little unhappy over certain things in the church. mainly because i cant accept certain figures in the youth. the 2nd thing is that i have automatically stepped up to be in YMM, but bo (hokkien version of NO) answer. i have waited for close to 4 months. i dont want to care much at the moment. i would like to say i dont want to wait long for your answer already. until 14th october, then i will start to do my great course of life. well im also getting baptised on 24th August. so do come.

i will update my blog even more when i have spare time.

FOP was great.
i went for all 3 days of this great event at the indoor stadium.

1st day of FOP was good as the crowd was normal. i took 16 on 2671B from Tiong Bahru Plaza to the Indoor Staduim. the bus was packed to the door, which i didnt like it in the 1st place. but when i reached there, i waited for Victor and XY to come. when they reached the bus stop opposite the stadium on 888G of service 11. it was the same situation as service 16. packed to the door. then we went to kallang leisure park to get some drinks and snacks. then we went to the staduim. worship was great as we had the Parachute Band from New Zealand and Reuben Morgan from Hillsongs Australia. Parachute band was a bit new to me as their songs were different from Hillsongs. after worship was anouncements and offering. then it was sermon. the speaker was Mark Conner from Citylife Church, Australia. he was the best sermon speaker i have ever seen. quite humorous. then it was prayer and then worship. hillsongs sang my favourite song, tell the world. then victor, XY and I walked to Nicoll Highway to take bus. XY left on Service 70M while victor and I took 14 to Plaza Singapura to have our late dinner. we planned to take Nite Owl 3N home from Plaza Singapura. we boarded 1936U, a crossover from 506 on 3N. the bus sped all the way to victor's home and my home.

2nd day was a little unlucky.
i went to church for my baptism lesson. then i left on service 10 to nicoll highway. the diversion for NDP started at 4pm. just nice i was on service 10. it went through St. Andrews' Road, Beach Road and Bras Basah Road and then back to its normal route. i alighted and boarded service 16 on 838B. met my form teacher. so unlucky. in order to get out of the bus, i alighted 1 stop before indoor staduim. then i ran to another bus stop and i saw XY taking pics of buses. chat with him for a while, then he left. i asked him to ask victor where is he. so XY told me victor is reaching. then victor came with 2 church friends of his. then we went to have our dinner at the usual place. JY happened to be at the area. asked him to meet us. then wilcent came. isaac was late. got impatient, then isaac came. went to the seats that victor's friends had booked. had the same thing as the 1st day. then i went to get the parachute band album, Roadmaps and Revalations. then i went to have the album autographed by the band. then i went with isaac, wilcent and victor to plaza singapura. then we went to macdonalds to eat. then we went to the same bus stop to wait for Nite Owl services. isaac took svc 65, while wilcent took 4N and victor and i took 3N. the bus was on another crossover from 506, 2607M. bus didnt speed so fast. but i was home on time.

last day of FOP.
was almost late. took a taxi instead of bus to the indoor staduim again. same thing but i left after the sermon. took 16 to DBG, then to 190 to go home. it was a great event.

Yesterday i didnt went to church. instead, i went to meet JY, Teng Swee, KP and faizal at Geylang Lor 1 Terminal. i took 31 on SBS9818A from TPY to GL1. then when they arrived at the terminal, we went to take 11 on SBS888G to the stadium to take down rego numbers and play with the EDS system. instead, we saw the red fat guy over there. so we decided to walk to the carpark where SBS buses are parked at. then it rained, so we took 11 on the same bus for 1 stop. then we walked to the carpark where the buses were parked at. JY, Teng Swee, KP and HM went to SBS3867Y to take shelter as KP knew that driver. so it was left with JQ, faizal and i at the shelter. then JQ went to search for them. faizal and i waited. then i called Teng Swee to ask him where was he. then he said he was on SBS3867Y. so faizal and i ran towards that bus despite of the rain. we got into the bus. then we did alot of stuff on the bus. taking pictures with the rear, side and front destos. we even had a chance of sitting on the driver's seat. then JQ and HM left. JY and Teng swee went to take pictures of buses while KP went to look for the driver. then all of them came back to the bus. here came roderick. we were on the bus when some NDP personal asked us where were we from, KP told him that we were from SBS. it was quite scary. then we left for the SMRT area. met jack and Malcolm. then we went to take rego numbers and there came a few unexpected people that we didnt want to see. so KP, faizal, JY and I marathoned to Nicoll Highway. KP zoomed off on service 14. then the 4 of us were stuck with those unexpected people. so we took 70 for 2 stops, then 4 of us shook them off along guillemard road, only afiq followed us. so we went through Geylang Lor 20. finally we shook him off at geylang road. we took 100 to GL1. then JY and Teng Swee took 853 to Yishun, while Faizal and I took 175 to Dhoby Ghaut. On the bus, Faizal and i were talking about alot of things until we reached Plaza Singapura. went to get a Big Mac Upsize EVM for dinner. Faizal ate faster than me. then when i was about to finish my EVM, SMB1H on 190 came, so we took the bus to New bridge road Terminal.snapped pics of the bus. then we took the same bus back. on the bus, faizal talked to the driver almost the whole ride. at CCK int, we alighted and took 307. faizal alighted before me, so i took to Yew Tee station and walked home. it was a great trip i ever had.

TODAY IS YOUTH DAY!!!!!!!!!

this is the day i am looking forward to as the new bus service 128 starts operation today at 7.18am. I went to YCK station to catch the first bus, instead, i missed it and i waited for the 2nd bus at 7.30am. while i was waiting, there were reporters at the bus stop filming. i was like shocked. nevermind. i boarded 128 on SBS8177Y. there were timekeepers on the bus to keep track of the time as they are trying to reformat the timings of the bus. i took that bus to Shenton Way. while at Shenton Way, teng swee told me that there were reporters on the last bus of 128 which was on SBS8181J. i was shocked as they would follow KP up the bus to interview him. when KP reached the last stop, he told the reporters that we didnt want to appear on TV. ok. we waited for alan. but he was on 70. when he came, we took an off-service 70 to the terminal. the driver was late so he let us alighted at the stop outside the terminal. Alan, KP, Ah Jay, teng swee, JY and i ran all the way to the terminal. just nice the reporters were on the bus. it was my first time going to Shenton Way bus terminal. the bus that the reporters were on went off-service and was going to AMK int and is operating on the S-shift of 269. we took the bus. then the reporters alighted from the bus, so it was left with us and the personal from Comfortdelgro, on the bus. the bus went through Cross Street, CTE, AMK ave 1 and then AMK int. while on the bus, we had a chat with the personal from Comfortdelgro. we talk about the buses and alot of stuff. while talking to her, we jotted down our contact details on a piece of paper and alan passed it to her. once we reach AMK int, we alighted. then we never thought that the bus we were on operated on 269. we boarded it. we took it around AMK and back. on the way, KP and alan left. then it was left with Ah Jay, JY, teng swee and i. so Ah Jay told me the Comfortdelgro HQ has the bus guides that i have been hunting for a long time. so we planned to go to the HQ to get the bus guides. we took 159 to go there. once we reached braddell road, we went to the HQ and change our ICs for the visitor passes. we went up to the 3rd floor as Ah Jay knows somebody there. but when we were at the 3rd floor, the person Ah Jay knew have resigned a long time ago. then we went to the 5th floor. but nobody was there. so we went to the east wing to ask the receptionist. then she told us to go to the 5th floor of the west wing. we tried again. then Ah Jay knocked on the door. someone came to open the door and asked us what are we here for?? RJ told him that we were there for services guides. so we went to the shelf that have alot of bus guides. we took the bus guides we wanted. then Mr Teo came out to ask us what are we doing at the office? then we told him that we were here for sevice guides. then we talked about buses, the models, the routes and other stuff. then here came Mr terence ng. his desk have service plates of both old and new. we introduced ourselves to him. and we asked him about the buses and the service plates he had. we took the service plate of the withdrawn CITYBUZZ SERVICE C3. we took a picture of it. then we asked mr ng to help us take a picture of us together with the sevice plate of C3. then we waited for him to finish his chat with his colleague. then we ask him whether we could take pictures with the side destos and the front desto of service 60. then we took the old desto of 198, 7, 196, and the front desto of 60. we took different destos. Ah Jay took service 7 side desto, I took service 196 side desto, Teng Swee took the front desto of 60 and JY took the side desto of 198. then on the 2nd shot, Ah Jay took the side desto of 196, i took the front desto of 60, Teng Swee took the side desto of 198 and JY took the side desto of 7. it was a good one. after the photo shot, i went to Mr Teo's desk and take a look of the premium and cityshoppers services. then he asked whether we wanted a copy of both maps. we said we wanted it. then he printed out the maps. we even took the poster of the season pass. then we left the building and took 13 to bishan for lunch. after that, Ah Jay had to leave. JY, teng swee and i took 410. teng swee left . JY and i took service 410 to bishan then we parted ways. i took 52 to JE while he had a joyride on 55. it was the best day i ever had.

WELL
im back posting on the Batam trip and on the latest happenings i have been through.
03/06/2008 was the day i was out of SINGAPORE doing CIP at batam. i was in the same group as my CGL, Juliana, my fellow CG members, Shu Anne and Ben, Jon Seet and a few BB boys. i was asked to help with the logistics, but coincidentally, i didnt bring my passport along when i was on the way to church on bus 51. then i told ben about it. he told me that i should go home and take the passport as there was ample time for me to go home. i met him on the bus, pass to him my lugguage and alighted at west coast road and switched to 285 that takes me to Clementi. then i took another bus to BBT int and then the MRT to go home. i was caught in the rain while walking home. when i reached home, my dad was at home, i went to take my passport and left the house at 1130 hrs. i choing all the way to HBF centre to meet with my Grp and had lunch over there. then it was time for me to go into the boarding area when my boarding pass corked up which i hated. so i waited together with Gan heng for my pass. managed to get in and off i went to batam. then the moment we reached the ferry terminal, we gathered in groups and lined up to get our passports stamped. then we were seperated into van that ook us to our hotel, SKYVIEW HOTEL!!!
on the van, i chat with ben, and diane about alot of stuff. we chat until we reached the hotel. then we were allocated into rooms. i was first roomed with the BB boys, after a few changes, ben was been tranferred to my room and my room was left with 3 ppl which were Ben, jansen and i. it was a great time on the first day. then i drop to bed in my No. 4 jacket to sleep.

2nd day
we went to 1 school to set up a computer lab and funfair. before that, we were asked to perform for them since they performed for us. after the performance, off we go to our stations. my grp was in charge of the PAIL BALL and SHOOT OUT stations. while the games station started, it started raining and the crowd at our station was too big to control. i prayed for the rain to stop. it took like a few hours then the rain stopped, then the funfair ended at 2pm batam time. then i wore my cap and sunglasses and started walking around. Up to my surprise, the students came to me for my autograph. so i decided to sign on the paper. there were alot of kids going around to take pics with us and for our autograph. it was quite fun. i loved it!!

3rd day
we went to another school to do the usual stuff we did on the first day. it rained even before the funfair started. the same thing happened but the crowd contral level was easy to maintain. there were alot of students lining up at my station, the SHOOT OUT station just for the prize. the rain stopped a few hours before the funfair ended at the usual time, 2pm Batam time. then we performed for the school principle. then we left. i was so tired that i told ben to get sparkling juice and snacks for the party for the night. then we went for dinner at the seafood restaurant opposite our hotel. we had dinner over there. then we started shooting ice at each other which was fun but wet. then i went to have an arm wrestling match. sadly, i won 1 guy but lost to other ppl. but it was a practice of my strength. haha. then we headed back to our hotel. then i told my group members to gather at my room for the party. then we toasted for our success. we had a time of celedration, a time of writing reflections about each other. then slowy, one by one, we departed to other rooms to either have fun or to sleep, so i slept .

4th day
TIME TO GO BACK TO SINGAPORE
we had our breakfast. then we started to pack up to go the Batam Centre to have lunch at A&W. we had a good time at the place.i went down with a few of my group members to the hypermart to get stuff. we even browse through the stuff they sell.
then it was time we set off to HBF. we boarded our ferry. while on the ferry, some of us decided to rest where as for some, they played games. for me, i went up to the top deck to admire the sea view with the BB boys and my officer Kwan Meng. the moment we step foot on HBF. i realised i could use the express lane as i have an IC. i was delighted. YEAH. then i had dinner with Janahan, Kwan Meng, Josh Teo, Chun Choon, my CGL, Juliana and Jansen at pasta mania. then we parted to go home. by the time i reached hom. i was so tired.

reflecting back on wad i have saw in batam, the slums and schools were like singapore once upon a time. it really tells me to appreciate what i have in singapore.

life has been normal for me for the past few days i guess
yesterday i went for Joanne's wedding at the Church of Ascension. it was a very grand event. i was the only person among PPHYM to be wearing a tie. yup. i even manage to take a pic with Joanne and John. after that, i went to take 154 to Jalan Toa Payoh as i couldnt get ben on the phone. then i switched to 143 to take me to PPH. while i was on 143, ben called me saying that minwei was with him walking around SAJC, so i said it was ok as im on my way to PPH. On the way to PPH, there was a terrible JAM which i expected along Orchard Road. it was raining then. i was feeling cold, so i rolled down my sleeve and went to take a nap on the bus as i didnt want to see the jam. i woke up when the bus was like 4 stops away from PPH. when i was in church, worship and sermon was great. after the sermon, went for dinner after that i went home to rest. TUESDAY is the day that im in batam. but 1 problem is that i didnt receive the packing list for the camp. im feeling worried. waiting for my team leader to call me. so i have to be patient. yup
i will post more aout the camp when im back.

HOLIDAYS are here at last. but i still have to go back to school for the first 2 weeks for D&T, Maths and Science. but on the 3rd of June, which is on the 2nd week, i will be in batam doing mission works with PPH and BB39th. im in the logistics group. so i have to carry like 40 computers with other people onto the ferry and to the schools to set up the labs. but i have to think and reflect on what have i done for the past few months. i also realised that i have been straying away from God as some of my habits are back. so i just think that i should change for the better. i will try and update my blog when i have time as i have a friend asking me to update it more often

My exam results are out already. but not so pleasing. english and computer applications result were the best. but for maths, D&T, and science result, the results arent pleasing enough. i have to do even better in my prelims. yup
yesterday i met up with Xiang Yu, wen jun and another bus fan at Hougang Mall. had dinner at Long John Silver. then we chat about buses and CCA. after that, we went to Hougang Int to look at buses. After that, we met Jack, another bus fan, at the Interchange. yup. i talk to them about my problems and got solutions to it. at 955like that, we parted by taking other buses, Xiang Yu, Wen Jun and Jack took 107M while i took 151. yup
it was a fruitful meeting. i like it.

Today was a day of close shaves and undesireable results!
The CLOSE SHAVE of today was that i just passed my science by 53.3%.
to me, that wasnt what i expected. the undesireable results part is here
i failed my chinese by 6 marks. haiz. im afraid that i will be questioned by my form teacher for getting this kind of results. At least my Computer Applications passed, but it is only the paper 1 segment. for paper 2, i will know the results on friday. im left with english and maths results which i dont know. im afraid that i will fail my maths. but i have to be confident even if i fail. reason is that i should stand up when i fall. for my english, i need not worry too much. i just have to relax.

will be letting out my results once finalized.

i still have 1 more week of exams and then im freed!! isnt it wonderful?? well, im tryin to stock up my finance for the Youth + BB camp although my parents have written a cheque of $60 to pay my camp fees. the reason being is because some of my stuff esspecially my shoes are worned out and my clothes are getting smaller.( Can't blame myself for growing too tall!!) the money i have stocked up are for the following items: Army Boots, Army PT Shirt, maybe the full army Camouflage Uniform with my name plus maybe a Colonel rank or a 2nd Warrant Officer rank, maybe a new pair of shoes or maybe something even better. For those who r concern for me when i was heartbroken, i really apreciate ur kindness and helpfulness for being concerned for me. dont worry i will be fine in a week or 2. but to those who didnt know wad actually happened to me, well u can try and ask me. BUT on 1 condition, DON'T TELL ANYBODY ABOUT IT!!!! haha. as i have around 6 more test papers to take for next week, do pray for me so that i have the energy to complete the papers. thanks. if u need me to pray for you, i would be happy to pray for u. yup.
